Welcome to my site!

I created this site to make American Sign Language (ASL) and Deaf culture more accessible and to remind everyone that, deep down, we’re all more alike than different. My goal is to help connect the hearing and Deaf communities by sharing helpful resources, stories, and media that make learning ASL easier and more fun.

Here, you’ll find videos, articles, and updates about the Deaf community. Feel free to explore at your own pace and discover something new about ASL along the way!

Together, we can help bridge the gap between hearing and Deaf worlds — because once we truly learn about each other, we realize we’re Not Different at all. 💙

Who am I ?

Hi! I’m Jiyoo 👋

I first discovered American Sign Language (ASL) in high school after meeting a friend with a hearing disability. I didn’t realize it at first—she spoke and communicated so naturally. That moment completely changed how I saw communication and the Deaf community.

Since then, I’ve been passionate about making ASL more accessible and fun to learn. I’m now the Vice President of my school’s ASL Club and have completed ASL 1 and American Deaf Community courses from Purdue University.

ASL isn’t just hand movements—it’s a beautiful, expressive language with its own grammar, culture, and heart. Through this site, I hope you’ll see how learning ASL can connect us all 🤟
