The idea of an idol group consisting of deaf or hard-of-hearing members was not easily understood in the beginning because people often perceive music as something to be heard.

Yet, Big Ocean’s journey compels those individuals to rethink the premise. Through constant practice and diverse sensory approaches, the members internalized rhythm and music without relying on sound.

Big Ocean’s experience is not merely a story of overcoming adversity, but a transformation in which conditions previously perceived as limitations are converted into new modes of expression.

Since their debut, Big Ocean has gained attention not only in Korea but also abroad, actively engaging with global fans across platforms. Their unique performances, shaped by visual cues, muscle memory, and most importantly, teamwork broadens the very way people commonly understand music.

Ultimately, Big Ocean demonstrates that limitations are not fixed entities, but concepts that can be redefined.
